Cold therapy or cryotherapy is one of the most extensively used therapeutic modalities for treating and rehabilitating acute sport injuries.
Cold and Hot therapy gel pack for use inside LP cold and hot therapy wraps or simply on its own. For cold therapy place gel pack in freezer for two and a half hours. Remove from freezer and insert into LP wrap or towel before using. Gel pack stays flexible even at sub zero temperatures.
For heat therapy place gel pack in hot water for 10 minutes. Store in the freezer when not in use. Cold therapy is excellent for the treatment of acute sprains and strains as well as reducing muscle tension, pain and spasm. Heat therapy has a soothing, relaxing effect, stimulating blood flow and accelerating the healing process.
