Aircast Infrapatellar Band
The Aircast Infrapatellar Band is an ideal choice for sufferers of Osgood Schlatter’s and patella tendonitis.
The unique Aircast AirCell is positioned just below the knee fastened against the Patella Tendon with a hard wearing but comfortable foam strap helping to decrease stress at the tibial tubercle.
This is custom fitted by simply tightening a durable Velcro strap. The resultant pressure is then directly applied to the Patella Tendon and surrounding area by the Aircast AirCell. Pressure can be adjusted to suit the individual and supports the Patella Tendon reducing the force exerted on the tendon.
The resultant force reduction alleviates patella tendon strain and in turn the knee joint helping relieve symptoms of Osgood Schlatter’s disease and Patella Tendonitis.
