I originally bought this to go snowboarding. Worked a treat however most of the pressure was on the shin from the boots. I used it last night for a bike ride and it worked fine, my knee is usually really bad and i get dull aches after, it ached a bit but not half as much as if i didn't have it on. It also help with the tracking an i can feel the weak muscle on the knee aching which means it tracked the knee cap properly and helped build this muscle. Worth doing the excercises that they recommend for patellofemoral syndrome, it helps build up the weak muscle and help tracking which stops the knee cap from griding when pulled to one side and causing swelling, also worth getting some dicloflex ani inflamitry pills from dr's which helps reduce swealing and pain better than ibroprofen I would recommend this product, i've tried loads of cheap supports, and can honestly say to you, do yourself a favour and spend a bit of money to get the right one. The only complaint with this is you may get a rash on the back of your leg from rubbing (when cycling) i believe they sell products to combat this though.
