What is the Tricep Tendon?
The triceps tendon is the large one at the back of the arm. This tendon inserts into the elbow at the back of the joint. It is possible to damage this tendon by falling on your hands, overdoing the weights, or pushing something too heavy. It is possible for the tendon to become inflamed, or it could rupture.
Symptoms of a Triceps Tendon Injury
- Elbow pain both at rest and during exercise
- Painful swelling at the rear of the elbow
