Which size do I need?

On each products page there is a size guide, which usually states a circumference measurement of the joint or limb and which size (S, M, L etc) this relates to. Information on how to measure each body area and any other specific information is given below.

Knee Braces

  • Measurements for knee braces should be taken in a standing position with the knee straight.
  • Measure all the way around the joint, at the level of the knee cap.
  • Take a measurement in both inches and centimeters as different manufacturers offer different guides.
  • Check at the bottom of the product page which size your measurement falls into.
  • If you are inbetween two sizes, we recommend opting for the larger size as these can usually be tightened.

Elbow Supports

  • Most elbow supports will require you to measure around the elbow joint. The exception is the epicondylitis clasp which requires a measurement around the upper forearm.
  • Measure with the elbow straight
  • Take a measurement in both centimeters and inches as different manufacturers offer different guides.
  • Check at the bottom of the product page which size your measurement relates to.
  • If you are inbetween sizes, we usually recommend opting for the larger size.

Ankle Supports

  • Most ankle supports use a UK shoe size to determine the correct size.
  • The exceptions are the LP ankle supports which require a measurement around the lower leg, just above the ankle.
  • Check at the bottom of the product page which size corresponds with your measurement.
  • If you are inbetween sizes, consider choosing the larger size as these can be tightened with the laces or straps.
